We are back in action!!!

First of all I want to thank each and every single one of you for your patience as we worked through the bugs we were experiencing with the Forums, Groups and Registration. Everything has been fixed complete with a new redesign thanks to Zesty Blog Consulting!  On the front page you will now see the latest and greatest activity in all the forums and groups.  We will resume posting on our Blog again soon and I am completely open to anyone who would like to contribute to posting as well as group moderation (email me or leave a comment below)…..until then, we are working on finalizing a Weight Watchers Points+ Friendly Slow Cooker Recipe book that all members will receive for FREE! Weekly Challenge: Make it count!

This is the LAST week in our Labor Day Challenge.  How are you doing at meeting your goal?  If you are doing well, keep working it!  If you feel like you are not doing as well as you could, I challenge you to make this week your BEST ON TRACK week of the summer.  Finish the summer and the challenge on a good note by making this week the one week that counts! I am at 5.8 lbs lost for my 10 lb goal.  I am SO CLOSE, but, I know with how my body works I may not reach it.  That is OK because our challenge has really helped to keep me on track, focused and working towards the goal.  I am going to keep that momentum going and finish this week with on track, writing everything down and treating it like it’s my FIRST week on Weight Watchers. 3 things to accomplish for this week’s... Read more...

Weekly Challenge: Back to the basics

Hi everyone!  We had a fantastic vacation and now I am ready to get right back on track.  I know as the summer comes to a close and vacations are ending, we all could use a little boost to help us get back into the swing of things.  This week, let’s all focus on getting Back to the Basics. For me that means focusing on the TWO things that are key to my success: 1.  TRACK IT ~ as in track every single bite, lick and/or taste (BLT’s).  If you take a bite of something that isn’t a zero points+ food, then, count a minimum of 1 points+ for it.  I find this also helps me take less BLT’s because I don’t want to “waste” my points+ on things that are not worth it! 2.  Water, water and more water!  I am sure we all get in our 64 ounces in fluids a day,... Read more...

Leaving on a Jet Plane…..

Hi all my Friends for Weight Loss!!! We are officially on vacation through next Monday, August 22, 2011.  If I get a chance to pop in with a few posts before then, I will…..if not, I will see you all when we get back. This week’s challenge ~ Pick ONE healthy guideline, tell us which on and focus on it each day.  My focus on vacation is to eat intuitively, stay on track and only indulge in the things worth it!  I LOST 2 more lbs this week ~ I am determined to get as close to my Labor Day goal as possible. How are you all doing with your goal?  There is STILL time to meet it….set one small goal this week and find success/motivation by achieving it.
