Hi everyone, my name is Danica of Danica’s Daily and you all may be able to tell by my site that I am an avid believer in Weight Watchers. I can honestly say that I have been a lifetime member of Weight Watchers without ever reaching “Lifetime”.
I have successfully gained and lost 55 lbs.
I have tried just about every diet plan out there as well as every Weight Watcher’s plan, (remember when they made you eat LIVER!) Danica’s Daily is about my journey to maintain the weight I lost and to continue towards reaching my ultimate weight loss “Lifetime” Goals. I have really been there and done that, I know how easy it is to gain some, all or a part of your weight back, 5 lbs at a time as well as to lose that same “5 lbs” over and over again.
The one thing that I have learned though is that the journey really is all about persistence over perfection. This time around, I am not giving up on my journey back to me because I have “Friends” along the way to help make sure I get there.

I created Friends for Weight Loss because I wanted the support of “friends” in my weight loss journey. I wanted “Accountability Buddies” that I can share my daily journals and recipes with and to chat about our days as well as our challenges without being scrutinized by others. I wanted a place to find new ideas for how to work the program, exercise ideas, tips and trick, but, most of all to help feed my recipe addiction. I LOVE getting new ideas and sharing reviews of the recipes I’ve made and products I’ve tried.
“Friends” is all about sharing your ideas and your journey as a way to motivate each other through it all ~ the great and the not so great times.

Think OUTSIDE the box when it comes to flavoring your veggies & salads. Spritz lemon juice over salad,s steamed, grilled or sautéed green vegetables of any kind: broccoli, snap peas, fresh spinach, asparagus, green beans, zucchini. For even brighter flavor, grate the rind of half a lemon using a microplane or zester, and add that to the dish. Season with garlic salt or sea salt and pepper, then, dig in!

Danica, you are very pretty, fat or thin. However, just for your health you must be successful on your journey to your goal weight. I had a beautiful sister-in-law that let her weight get out of control, leading to diabetes and high blood pressure. She just passed away from a major stroke. You are young and pretty now but the weight definitely catches up to you later on in life. Don’t sweat it but definitely make healthy choices when dining. I struggle constantly but I have eliminated most processed foods and never ever eat anything fried or indulge in a slice of pizza. I never feel deprived because I want to stay healthy. Good luck. Hi , Danica , When you lost your weight ,did you do Weight Watchers ? Or just eat heathy with a food journal ?

Thanks! You know I have tried probably every diet out there and lost on it. However, the only time I’ve ever maintained that loss was with Weight Watchers because it is more of a lifestyle than a quick fix to lose. Majority of the other plans were not sustainable for me in the long run. I always journal my food in my online tracker and over at danicasdaily.com
